Important Shipping Information: We know shipping costs are a big concern for our buyers, and you should only pay the least expensive USPS means to ship your order. Due to some quirks in the shipping cost estimator we will sometimes need to refund a portion of shipping charges post-payment to get to the exact needed amount for you. PINE TAR SHAMPOO BAR
Nothing but old-fashioned saponified vegtable oils and pine tar go into this traditional shampoo bar that I super fat with Jojoba and Argan Oils for extra conditioning of dry, sensitive scalps.
A Pine Tar shampoo bar sought out by those with flaky scalp, itchy head, dandruff, or eczema with a nice rich lather that leaves hair clean and scalp soothed. This round soap bar weighs approximately 4 oz but soap does change weight as it dries and gets harder.
WHY DO I MAKE PINE TAR SHAMPOO
Pine Tar Soap has been chosen as a ZirYab product for it's long traditional use as a treatment for itchy, flakey scalp.
THE STORY BEHIND MY PINE TAR SHAMPOO
A customer begged me to make this soap for her and her husband because she could not find a good supply for it. She told me pine tar soap cured her and her husbands dry, flakey scalp and made her hair feel soft.
HISTORY OF PINE TAR SOAP AND SHAMPOO
Pine Tar has a long history of use for treating skin conditions like eczema in North America but was never approved despite testimonials from people who swear by it. Nevertheless, the demand for good, naturally made Pine Tar Soap is growing. Some people buy it just because they happen to love the smell.
WHO IS PINE TAR SHAMPOO FOR?
Pine Tar soap should be tried by people who are struggling to find a way to manage itchy skin and dry scalp.
WHY IS MY PINE TAR SHAMPOO SPECIAL?
My pine tar shampoo begins with Olive Oil, which is gentler and more moisturizing than Coconut Oil. Plus it includes Cocoa Butter and Shea Butter. At the end of the process I add Jojoba and Argan oils so they remain unsaponified and available to be extra moisturizing for your head.
WHAT ARE THE INGREDIENTS IN MY PINE TAR SHAMPOO?
Saponified Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Sustainable and organic Palm Kermnal Oil, Castor Oil, Shea Butter, Organic Cocoa Butter, Pine Tar, Jojoba Oil, Argan Oil, Unrefined Beeswax or a harder, longer lasting bar.
WHAT IS THE PROCESS OF MAKING PINE TAR SHAMPOO
I make my Pine Tar Soap from scratch, balancing the best ingredients with affordability. Hand made soap does not
extract the glycerin from the soap to resell during the process and it is one of the reasons it is so much nicer.
DIRECTIONS FOR USING MY PINE TAR SHAMPOO
Use on scalp and body as you would use any other soap. Keep dry between uses will allow the soap to last much longer. If you experience any unwanted reaction discontinue use.
OTHER NOTES REGARDING MY PINE TAR SHAMPOO
Pine Tar soap may contain creosote which is considered an undesirable ingredient by some. Therefore you may not want to use this on a child. Instead try my rebatched African Black Soap which is similar but not as strong.
